Section One -
Secret anti-terrorist organization on the
espionage adventure LA FEMME
NIKITA/USA/1997-2001.

Section One was developed to bring down
criminals and terrorists that no one else can
get. It is the most covert anti-terrorist group
on the planet. Their ends are just but their
means are ruthless.
This covert agency routinely
recruits criminals and killers and gives them a
choice: death or life as a Section operative. A
woman named Adrian (Sian Philips), the "Mother
of Section One" founded Section One.
One of Section One's reluctant recruits was a
young street addict named Nikita
(Peta Wilson) who was trained to be an assassin.
Code named Josephine, Nikita had to "play by
their rules" or "die."
Section One personnel included:
- Eugene Robert Glazer as Operations who
designed missions; Alberta Watson as
Madeleine, master strategist and specialist
with hardware and logistics.
- Walter, veteran field agent.
- Birkoff, computer genius and rebel hacker.
- Roy DuPuis as Michael, Nikita's trainer
and mentor.
Section One battled many criminals and rogue
actions. Among them, Red Cell, Glass Curtain and
The Freedom League. The Red Cell, based out of
North Korea, was Section One's chief nemesis.
They employed a number of killers to do
their worst, including The Cardinal, and
Dominic. Eventually, the Red Cell organization
was defeated.
