Kojak - On the police drama KOJAK/CBS/1973-78,
Telly Savalas starred as the bald-headed Theo Kojak, the NYPD
homicide detective of Greek descent.
When Kojak smoked, he preferred "Sherman Brand" cigarettes. But
most of the time, he sucked on a Tootsie pop-like lollipop. Eating
candy was Kojak's way of cutting down on his smoking habit.
