TRIVIA NOTE: The TV movie pilot for
the series entitled Scalplock was first aired on The ABC
Sunday Night Movie on April 10, 1966.
1924,
John Ford directed a western film entitled
The Iron Horse.
Starring George O'Brien, the film chronicled the efforts
of surveyor Davey Brandon, as he helps build the Union Pacific and Central Pacific railways across the western
expanse of the United States in the year 1862.
The Native American Indians called the locomotive the "Iron Horse."
