John Hart replaced Clayton Moore as the "Masked Rider of the Plains" on the western series THE LONE RANGER from 1950-1953.

 In the 1990s, Lee Horsley starred as Nathaniel "Hawkeye" Bumppo in the syndicated adventure HAWKEYE/1994-95 based on the Leatherstocking Tales.
