based on the classic novel "The Last of the
Mohicans" (1826) written by James Fenimore
Cooper.
John Hart replaced Clayton Moore as the
"Masked Rider of the Plains" on the western
series THE LONE RANGER from 1950-1953.
In the 1990s, Lee Horsley starred as Nathaniel "Hawkeye" Bumppo
in the syndicated adventure HAWKEYE/1994-95 based on the
Leatherstocking Tales.
