PALL MALL PLAYHOUSE/ABC/1955
- Western  anthology series composed of unsold pilots. (30 Minutes) 

PARADISE/CBS/1988-90 - Lee Horsley starred as Ethan Allen Cord, a 1890s gunfighter who settled down to care for his brother's children. Putting his gun aside, he adopted the children and raised them on a small ranch outside the town of Paradise, California. The program later changed its name to GUNS OF PARADISE in 1991 when Ethan became the marshal of Paradise. 

THE PIONEERS/SYN/1964 - Western anthology series hosted by Will Rogers, Jr. consisting of retitled episodes of DEATH VALLEY DAYS. (30 Minutes) 

PISTOLS 'N' PETTICOATS/CBS/1966-67 - Western comedy set in the 1870s town of Wretched, Colorado, about the gun-toting Hawks Family. Members included Henrietta (Ann  Sheridan), Grandpa (Douglas Fowley), Grandma  (Ruth McDevitt) and Lucy (Carole Wells). (30 Minutes) 

THE PONY EXPRESS/SYN/1960 - Set in the 1860s, Grant Sullivan starred as Brett Clark, an investigator for Central Overland Express Company (also known as the Pony Express) that covered the areas from St. Joseph, Missouri to Sacramento, California from 1860-61. (30 Minutes) 

PURGATORY/TNT/1999 - This supernatural made-for-cable western movie starred Sam Shepherd as the town sheriff who maintains the peace in the frontier town of Refuge without the aid of a gun. When a gang of outlaws and their cruel leader Blackjack (Eric Roberts) stumble upon the quaint town of Refuge, they feel they are in control until the group's youngest member recognizes the sheriff as Wild Bill Hickok and the town doctor (Randy Quaid) as Doc Holiday. Trouble is, they're both dead. The rowdy criminals soon discover they have been traveling a spiritual crossroads for gunfighters and find themselves in the mythical land known as Purgatory.
