ZOO GANG, THE
(The Zoo Gang)
The Zoo Gang is the code name of four World War II resistance fighters who
reunited 28 years later to fight criminals throughout Europe. Each member had
his own individual code name. Steven Halliday, an antique dealer was called
"Fox"; Monouche Roget, a tavern owner was called "Leopard"; Tom Devon, a jeweler
was called "Elephant"; and Alec Marlowe the mechanic was called "Tiger". Note:
The characters were based upon the 1962 novel "The Zoo Gang" written by Paul
Gallico.
