Sky
One - Jet fighter on the sci-fi series U.F.O./SYN/1972. Sky One is
mounted on the front of Skydiver, a submarine that is part of a fleet of
vessels that cruises the world's oceans and protects mankind from alien UFO
attacks in the year 1980. Sky One is equipped with rockets that break through
the ocean's depths into the wild blue yonder. The Sky 1 pilot reports to
Skydiver's commander (Georgiana Moon) who in turn reports to S.H.A.D.O. (Supreme
Headquarters, Alien Defence Organization), led by Cdr. Edward Straker (Ed
Bishop).
TRIVIA NOTE: An aircraft (called "Sky One")
headquartered an elite team of crime-fighters working for the Foundation for Law
& Justice on the action adventure TEAM KNIGHT RIDER/SYN/1997-98.
