Great Gazoo -
Inhabitant of the planet Zetox who used his advanced scientific
powers to perform good deeds for earthlings on the animated
cartoon series THE FLINTSTONES/ABC/1960-66. Gazoo (voice of
Harvey Korman) was a miniature space helmeted alien who traveled
to the days of the Stone Age and selected Fred Flintstone and
his neighbor Barney Rubble to be the recipients of his well
intentioned assistance (which most of the time backfired on all
concerned).
Alan Cumming played the role of Gazoo in the live-action feature length
movie The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas (2000).
