Zanti
- Rodent-sized ant creatures sent to Earth for execution on
episode "The Zanti Misfits" on the sci-fi anthology series THE
OUTER LIMITS/ABC/1963-65.
Landing in a remote area of the
planet Earth, these six-legged Zanti aliens began to attack the nearby
population.
The hostile little critters were actually convicted criminals
from the planet Zanti whose civilization had rocketed them to our
world to be destroyed because the Zanti moral code prohibited them
from killing their own kind.
As the Zanti creature began to
overwhelm a group of frightened humans, the tiny but
vicious criminals were stomped, and shot into extinction. I just
love happy endings, don't you?
