Stephen King - Horror novelist and the star of his very own spooky American Express credit card ad. It opens in a haunted mansion as Stephen Kings asks the viewers "Do you know me? It's frightening how many novels of suspense I've written. But still, when I'm not recognized, it just kills me. So instead of saying I wrote "Carrie", I carry the American Express card. Without it, life's a little scary." The commercial concludes with Stephen King disappearing behind a sliding bookcase and the tagline "Don't leave home without it."
