Laugh-In
Body Paintings - In 1970, the NBC
Network adorned Inga Nielsen with body paints to
advertise its sports programming for the Rose
and Orange Bowls. Clad in a two piece bathing
suit, the painted messages were written across
her cleavage. This same type of body paint was
used previously on the NBC comedy/variety series
ROWAN & MARTIN'S LAUGH‑IN/NBC/1968-73. Goldie
Hawn, Judy Carne and other female regulars often
had their bodies dotted with flowers and stupid
little sayings. In
1968 Topps playing card company issued a set of
Laugh In cards consisting of 77 Cards and 24
"Goldie's Laugh-ons Stickers".
Dean
Martin on The DEAN MARTIN SHOW used women
as cue cards during his show.
