1967 Impala - Click to see the InteriorWinchester "Impala" -  1967 Chevrolet Impala automobile (license: KAZ 2Y5) featured on the occult drama SUPERNATURAL/WB/SCI/2005+. Driven by the Winchester boys, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles), the four-door Impala sedan criss-crosses the backroads of America on the trail of the boy's missing father, John (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) who has been obsessed with finding the evil forces that killed his wife years earlier.

The boy's only clues to their father's whereabouts are his mysterious phone calls and the cryptic entries he left in his journal that document his demon hunting activities over the past 20 years. So, when Sam and Dean get a call or decipher clues in the journal, they set out on their next assignment. Sam's prophetic nightmares, which forecast danger, also guide them on their quest.

Sam:

Dude, you gotta update your cassette tape collection.

Dean: Why?
Sam: Well, for one, they are cassette tapes. And two, Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Metallica... its the greatest hits of mullet rock.
Dean: House rules, Sammy. Driver picks the music. Shotgun shuts his cake hole.
Sam: Sammy is a chubby 12 year old. It's Sam okay.
Dean: Sorry, cant hear you. The music's too loud.

Along the way, the Winchesters encounter all sorts of supernatural entities straight out of a catalog of urban legends (such as a ghostly hitchhiker called The Lady in White, a Native American beast known as the Wendigo, a Lover's Lane killer with a hook for a hand; as well as a demonic killer truck and the fiery poltergeist that killed their mother in their childhood home in Lawrence, Kansas (a similar demon reappeared to kill Sam's girlfriend, Jessica).
