Guzmeroli -
Italian sports car
owned by pilot Michael Hogan (Josh
Taylor) on the sitcom THE HOGAN
FAMILY/NBC/CBS/1986-91. The Guzmeroli was
Michael's dream car. There were only nine others
like it in the country. That is, until his son
David (Jason Bateman) took the car out for a
spin to impress a girl and demolished it.
Upon
discovering the fate of his precious possession,
Michael, filled with anger and grief, stormed
out of his house. He later returned happy to
know that his son had safely survived the crash
and holding a souvenir ashtray from the wreck.
Unfortunately, Michael's wife pointed out the
ashtray was
stamped Toyota. "Damn!" cried Michael, "I must
have looted the wrong pile of metal."
