 Mr. Bear - Plush brown teddy bear
on the sitcom FULL HOUSE/ABC/1987-95. Mr. Bear was the faithful friend of
Stephanie Tanner, (Jodie Sweetin) the middle sister in a family of three
girls. Her teddy bear wore a 1930s style private eye khaki trench coat and
slant brim fedora hat. Mr. Bear is very special to Stephanie because it
was a gift from her mother (now deceased) when she returned from the
hospital after delivering, Michelle, the youngest sister. Stephanie once
gave Mr. Bear to her little sister, Michelle (as a bribe to be good and
act grown up) and immediately screamed "What have I done!" Michelle
renamed the doll Willy, but eventually Mr. Bear was returned to
Stephanie's loving care. On episode #40 "Goodbye, Mr. Bear" Mr. Bear gets
lost during spring cleaning and
