was recruited by a secret branch of the CIA called SD-6. I was sworn to secrecy
but I couldn't keep if from my fiancé. And when the head of SD-6 found out...he
had him killed. That's when I learned the truth. Sd-6 is not part of the CIA.
I'd been working for the very people I thought I was fighting against. So I went
to the only place that could help me take them down. Now, I'm a double agent for
the CIA where my handler is a man named Michael Vaughn. Only one other person
knows the truth about what I do. Another double agent inside SD-6. Some one I
hardly know...my father."

their best advantage as champions of law, order and justice. Operators of the
international agency of Nemesis (based in Geneva, Switzerland)"
I LED THREE LIVES/SYN/1953-56
[Narrator] "This is the fantastically 'True Story' of Herbert A.
Philbrick, who for nine frightening years did lead three lives: average citizen,
member of the Communist Party, and counterspy for the FBI. For obvious reasons
the names, dates and places have been changed, but the story is based on fact."
LA FEMME NIKITA/USA/1997-2001
[Voice of Peta Wilson as Nikita] "I was falsely accused of a hideous
crime and sentenced to life in prison. One night I was taken from my cell to a
place called Section One, the most covert anti-terrorist group on the planet.
Their ends are just, but their means are ruthless. If I don't play by their
rules, I die."
Script dialog from the very first episode:
|
We see Nikita
talking to other street kids and then running down the street with them.
Nikita hears a man's cry and turns her head to see a bald man who has just
killed a police officer. The bald man leaps up and slams her against the
wall and they struggle - she screams but you don't hear the sounds -
suddenly, the man withdraws leaving her with the bloody knife in her
hands. She backs away, terrified, but you hear sirens and she finds
herself surrounded by police officers. She raises her hands and drops the
knife. |
|
Voice over of judge:
|
You have been found guilty of
murder in the first degree. I'm sentencing you to life in prison. (Shot
of Nikita in police car) |
| Flash back to
Nikita in the white room, being injected with something.
Flash back to Nikita behind bars in prison, screaming "Noooooo! I
didn't kill anyone!"
Flash back to hands loosening Nikita's restraints in the White Room.
Close-up of Michael's lips. |
|
Michael: |
Good morning. |
|
Nikita springs off the
table like a wild animal and backs up to the wall. |
|
Michael: |
I'm not going to hurt
you. |
|
Nikita: |
What is this? (extremely
wary, whispering) |
|
Michael: |
You're not in prison anymore.
The world thinks you're dead. Suicide. This is your funeral. (He hands
her a photograph) Row 8, plot 30 |
|
Nikita: |
My momma…didn't come?
(starting to cry, she clutches the photograph to her chest. Michael stalks
around the room in the usual Michael-like manner as Nikita slides to a
sitting position) |
|
Michael: |
We've decided to give you
another chance. This is where you'll train. This is where you'll learn.
After two years, if everything goes well, you'll work for us. |
|
Nikita: |
Why me? |
|
Michael: |
A woman with your looks, who
can kill in cold blood… |
|
Nikita: |
I didn't, I didn't, I didn't
kill anyone! (stands up again, back against the wall. Michael goes to
leave but she attacks him from behind. He neatly flips her back onto the
floor and leans over her.) |
|
Michael: |
When you attack someone from
behind, go for the kidneys. It disables and they can't fight back. |
|
Nikita: |
I don't want - I don't want
lessons! |
|
(Michael gets up)
|
|
Michael: |
We start tomorrow at 5 a.m. |
|
Nikita: |
(still lying on her back)
And if I don't want to? |
|
Michael:
|
(points at her) Row 8,
plot 30. (He leaves) |

they want it; and they will do anything to get the negative. I'm keeping this
diary as proof that these events are real.... I know they are; they have to be.

a county mental hospital...wearing a straight jacket...facing Doctor Bellamy.
It's hard to say where I'm headed..."
