Hole-in-the-Water - The private cabin cruiser owned by Rick Simon (Gerald McRaney), one of two gumshoe brothers who operated a private investigation agency in San Diego on the detective drama SIMON AND SIMON/CBS/1981-88. Rick had been living in a boat for year with his dog, Marlowe. When Hole in the Water sprang a leak, Rick moved his boat out of the water, parked it in his brother AJ's backyard and continue to live in the boat (when he wasn't visiting his brother's house). Trivia Note: The boat's name comes from the old saying that a "boat is a hole in the water you throw money into."
