Crisis
in Suez - Memoir written by Jonathan Quayle Higgins III
(John Hillerman), a stuffy British manservant featured on the
detective drama MAGNUM P.I./CBS/1980-88. During his quiet time,
Higgins, a former member of British military intelligence (MI5 &
MI6) chronicled his early life experiences in a memoir called
"Crisis in Suez".
When not writing his memoirs, Higgins ran the Hawaiian Oahu estate
of wealthy (but never seen) mystery novelist,
Robin Masters where he was often at odds with
Thomas Magnum, the estate's live-in security man.
For hobbies, the nit-picky Higgins likes to paint, built model
bridges and create his own blend of
teas, one of which is called "Lady Ashley Tea." Higgins also
enjoys seeing his Doberman pinschers Apollo and Zeus (who answer
only to his commands) chase Thomas Magnum about the estate
grounds.
Psst!
Higgins is rumored (but never proven) to be Robin Masters.
