 Elaine Vassal's Face Bra - On the
legal dramedy ALLY MCBEAL/FOX/1997-2002 professional meddler, Ellen
Vassal (Jane Krakowski) displayed an inventive nature and created a
number of what she thought were useful items. She designed a "Face
Bra" for joggers. This bandage-like facial covering with an opening
for the eyes held the face in place while a person jogged, thus
preventing the up and down movements that cause wrinkling. Elaine's
boss, lawyer Ally McBeal (Calista Flockhart) commented the "Face
Bra" made her look like "Hannibal Lecter."
Her other inventions included the "Cool Cup," an ice cold fertility
device worn on the male genitals to promote increase sperm count;
the "Ice Goggles" (glasses packed with ice) designed to shrink
puffiness; cherry flavored edible panties; and the “Vi-Bra,” a
motorized bra with multiple features: its cups can move up and
down, side to side, shimmy, roll in circle, project nipples and
augment their size when you want to look bigger. It has one bug.
