Monty Fox - A large, lap-sized stuffed doll resembling a fox seen on the situation comedy REGGIE/ABC/1983.

Dressed in an English riding outfit, Monty was the confidant of Reggie Potter (Richard Mulligan) a burned-out, daydreaming, middle-aged executive at Funtime Ice Cream Company.

When Reggie needed some catharsis, he talked to Monty about his problems much like Shirley Feeney (Cindy Williams) talked to her stuffed Kitty cat doll called Boo Boo Kitty on the situation comedy  LAVERNE & SHIRLEY /ABC/1976-83.

TRIVIA NOTE: In the 1970s British series, THE FALL AND RISE OF REGINALD PERRIN that inspired the ABC version, Reggie (David Nobbs) confided in his cat, Ponsonby.
