Barkley Ranch - Fictional western cattle ranch on THE BIG VALLEY/ABC/1965-69. Located in the San Joaquin Valley of the 1870s some four miles outside Stockton, California, this 30,000 acre ranch (with mining operations, vineyards & orange groves) was operated by widowed matriarch Victoria Barkley (Barbara Stanwyck) and her family which included sons Jarrod (Richard Long); Nick (Peter Breck); Heath, an illegitimate half-son of Victoria's husband (Lee Majors); and daughter, Audra (Linda Evans). Napoleon Whiting played their black servant, Silas.
