western series THE BIG VALLEY/ABC/1965-69.
Heath, Nick, Jarrod, Audra and Victoria Barkley
Located in the San Joaquin Valley of the 1870s some four miles outside Stockton,
California, the
Barkley ranch consists of 30,000 acres which includes horses, cattle, mining
operations, vineyards & orange groves.
The ranch is operated by widowed matriarch Victoria Barkley (Barbara Stanwyck)
and her family members:
- Richard Long as Jarrod Barkley, a lawyer
- Peter Breck as Nick Barkley, the ranch foreman
- Lee Majors as Heath Barkley,
an illegitimate half-son of Victoria's husband and ranch hand
- Charles Briles as Eugene Barkley, a 19 year old son
- Linda Evans as Audra
Barkley, the beautiful daughter
- Napoleon Whiting as Silas, the family's loyal black butler.
