National Organization of Men Against Amazonian Masterhood - The woman hating fraternal organization on the sitcom MARRIED...WITH CHILDREN/FOX/1987-97. Its chief member and advocate was Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill), a henpecked husband with two children and a dog who worked as a shoe salesman in a Chicago mall. The group proudly wore their white T-shirts bearing the initials NO MA'AM on the front and full name of the group running vertically down the back. Marcy Rhodes/D'Arcy (Amanda Bearse), Al's women's libber next-door neighbor (whom he called "Chicken Legs") was the group's chief nemesis who headed a group called "Feminists Against Neanderthal Guys" (FANG). On episode "Reverend Al" Al Bundy and his NO MA'AM cronies decided to form the "Church of NO MA'AM" to avoid paying beer tax. The movement gained momentum and Al became a televangelist preaching the NO MA'AM way of life. Unfortunately, Al's nemesis Marcy exposed him as a fraud when she presented photographic evidence of Al wining and dining his wife (being nice to one's spouse definitely violated the group's philosophy). Al once mentioned NO MA'AM also stood for  "Numb Old Men Anxiously Awaiting Morticians" just after having sex with his wife.
