Encouraging his staff with the phrase "Smiles, everyone! Smiles!" Mr. Roarke with the help of his dwarf manservant Tattoo (Herve Villechaize) helped make his island visitors at home by giving them tropical drinks, colorful leis and the friendly wishes of a bevy of beauties clad in sarongs.
