Crematia Mortem - An 800-year-old "Ghostess with
the Mostess" who hosted the Friday night horror show Creature Feature at 11:30
P.M. in Kansas City, Kansas on KSHB-TV Channel 41 beginning in 1981 through
1988.

Crematia (played by news announcer Roberta Solomon) sported dark raven
tresses that dangled sensuously over her titillating ensemble of purple corset
and black negligee.
Assisting our luscious late night honey were off camera characters, Dweeb and
Rasputin (voiced by Paul Murphy - who also performed the opening narration "Lock the door. Turn
out the lights. It's time for the Creature Feature [evil laugh]
)."
Other folks to visit Crematia's spooky castle home included her sister Cremora
(Kathy McGuckin); her mother,
Desiree (C. Wayne Owens); and strange old cousin Henry (Steve Bell).
The Crematia Mortem character could also be seen via cable in Iowa, Kansas,
Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. See also "Elvira,
Mistress of the Dark" and "Vampira"
