DORC - Disembodied Omnipotent Ruler of Cats
featured on the Saturday morning cartoon SPACECATS/NBC/1991-92. The program
starred a trio of extraterrestrial feline crime fighters named Captain Catgut
Scratch, Sniff and Tom who reported to a disembodied human head named DORC
(played by Charles Nelson Reilly.)
Spacecats report to DORC
Based on the all-cat planet Triglyceride 7, the puppet SpaceCats were sent to
Earth, to protect the human race.
Created by Paul Fusco of ALF fame, the 13 episode series was a mixture of
live-action puppetry with animated cartoon adventures.
