Bugaloos, The - Swarm of friendly bees on the live action series THE BUGALOOS/NBC/1970-72. The Bugaloos lived in Tranquility Forest [located 10 miles outside of Rock City] with their shy, insecure friend Sparky the Firefly  (Billy Barty). This group of "Bee" musicians (actually full-sized peopled puppets) consisted of Harmony (Wayne Laryea), the keyboardist and backup singer; Courage (John Philpott), the drummer and backup singer; Joy (Caroline Ellis), the group's tambourine player and backup singer, and I.Q. (John McIndoe), the group's guitarist and lead singer. The Bugaloos battled the schemes of the evil witch, Benita Bizarre (Martha Raye) who wanted to get her songs played on Kook Radio. The program was produced by Sid & Marty Krofft.
