Granny's Medical Bag - On the sitcom THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES/CBS/1962-71 Daisy Moses, a.k.a. "Granny Clampett" (Irene Ryan) was a backwoods doctor from the Ozarks who concocted all sorts of pultices, and potions to cure the hill folk. However, when she moved to Beverly Hills, her unusual medical procedures got her into trouble with the establishment. Granny's medical bag contained all sorts of wonder drugs including buckeye, snakewort, dogbane, horsemint, newt eye and cat hair. Granny also had a still where she brewed a batch of what she called her "Rheumatiz medicine." On episode No. 197 "From Rags to Riches" Doctor Granny attempts to perform history's first surgical head transplant when Mr. Drysdale gets hurt.
