Jackie Gleason's Stage Cues - Codes used by the scriptwriters on the sitcom THE HONEYMOONERS/CBS/1955-56 that instructed comedian Jackie Gleason. The term "Macaroni" was used to prompt Jackie Gleason to make the "I'm an idiot" look. When Gleason as Ralph Kramden heard the phrase "Beached Whale" he was to faint. When he patted his stomach it meant that Gleason had forgotten his lines and that his fellow actors were to cover while he remembered. The term "Kissville" described Ralph and Alice Kramden when they embraced at the closing lines "Baby...you're the greatest!"
