Spin the Picture - The
quiz/audience participation program SPIN THE
PICTURE/DUM/1949-50 featured prizes, songs,
sketches and most of all the "spinning picture"
gimmick. During each program, a photograph of a
celebrity flashed quickly on camera. Those home
viewers who sent in post cards were eligible to
be called by phone to participate in the picture
guessing segment of the program. The series was
previously called CUT/DUM/1949 and hosted by
Carl Caruso.
