Woodsy
the Owl - The woodland mascot of the U.S. Forest Service introduced in
the 1970s to encourage kids and adults alike not to pollute (a la Chief Iron
Eyes Cody).

Woodsy the Owl wore a green Robin Hood-style hat adorned with a red feather
and a brown leather belt with a big "W" belt buckle.
He sang and danced in numerous TV commercials and appeared in posters and
print ads. His trademark catchphrase was "Give A Hoot! Don't Pollute!"
