U.N.C.L.E.] on the spy
adventure THE MAN FROM UNCLE/NBC/1965-68.

Illya Kuryakin (David McCallum) is blond, single, introverted but very
adept at thwarting enemy agents from T.H.R.U.S.H.

ladie’s man,
Napoleon Solo.
Illya and his partner, enter U.N.C.L.E. headquarters
through a secret entrance in Del Floria's Tailor
Shop. Their standard issued firearm is a Walther
P-38. They both reported to Mr. Alexander
Waverly, the head of U.N.C.L.E.

TRIVIA NOTE:
After Illya left U.N.C.L.E.,
he became a celebrated fashion designer [as
revealed on the 1983 TV movie reunion The
Return of the Man from U.N.C.L.E.: The Fifteen
Years Later Affair.
A poster of Illya in his turtleneck
holding his U.N.C.L.E. issued firearm became a
best selling poster in the 1960s long before the
Farah Fawcett [Charlie’s Angels] poster craze
began a decade later.
Years later,
David McCallum played the role of coroner Dr. Donald
'Ducky' Mallard, on the
military drama NAVY NCIS/CBS/2003+.
