T.H.U.M.B. - Acronym for the Tiny Human Underground Military Bureau, a secret organization on the animated cartoon series TOM OF T.H.U.M.B., a component series on THE KING KONG SHOW/ABC/1966-69. Tom and his Asian friend Swinging Jack, master of karate, were caught in the rays of a shrinking laser radar beam, which reduced both of them to the size of Lilliputians. As the cartoon stated "They gave their height for their country, thus creating the Tiny Human Underground Military Bureau." This Saturday morning cartoon was a cross between James Bond and Gulliver's Travels.
