Secret Organizations - The Good Guys

World Security Bureau - Espionage agency featured in a continuing storyline on the daytime soap GENERAL HOSPITAL/ABC/1963+.

Tristan Rogers as Robert Scorpio

One of the World Security Bureau's (WSB) most daring and effective agents was Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), a handsome Australian with piercing blue eyes - code name: Pegasus - whose traveled incognito as an international financier and well-know bon vivant.

During the 1981 season, Scorpio tracked down the Ice Princess, a statue/diamond with a secret formula on its base that as Scorpio warned "could cause cataclysmic global problems" if not recovered.

On the trail of this huge uncut diamond, Scorpio's fellow agent named O'Reilly (Billie Hayes), an elderly woman who affectionately called Scorpio "Sonny," was killed in a shoot out on the docks.

Vowing revenge, Scorpio with the help of Luke and Laura (Anthony Geary and Genie Francis) stowed away aboard a yacht to a tropical island that was the base of mad scientist Mikkos Cassadine (John Colicos) who wanted exploit the power of the Ice Princess formula to be "Supreme Commander of the World."

In a final confrontation with Scorpio, Mikkos fell to his death in freezing chamber of the diabolical machine designed to freeze the world. With the help of Luke, the machine's code (I-C-E-P-R-I-N-C-E-S-S) was cracked, disaster was averted and democracy was restored to the planet. Scorpio, thereafter, became a recurring character on the program.

The nemesis of the WSB was the evil international organization known as DVX.

Scorpio's first marriage to beautiful WSB agent Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) ended in divorce because the evil DVX blackmailed Anna into acting as a double agent. Scorpio later discovered that he was the father of Anne Devane's daughter Robin (Kimberly McCullough).

When an Asian underworld gang run by the evil Mr. Wu (Ali Keong) kidnapped his daughter in the pursuit of a special pearl from the stomach of a jade Buddha, Scorpio intervened to rescue her.

Seeing his child was safe, he returned to Australia to his new wife Holly Sutton (Emma Samms-who later betrayed Robert and died in a plane crash).

Robert Scorpio resurfaced during a money laundering operation called "Operation Tumble Dry" and later still became partners with his ex-wife's (Anna) private detective firm and worked as the Police Commissioner of Port Charles.
