Fred Sanford's Truck - Red pick-up
truck featured on the situation comedy SANFORD & SON/NBC/1972-77.
Fred Sanford (Redd Foxx) and his son, Lamont (Demond Wilson)
owned "Sanford and Son Salvage" in South Central Los Angeles in Watts. They used their pick-up to transport their wares
(2nd-hand and antique items) to and from their junk yard The
message "We buy & sell junk" graced the doors of their vehicle.
During the series, the Sanford's used two trucks.
The first and most recognized was a faded-red 1951 Ford F1 4x2
pickup. The second was a 1947 Mercury M-47.
