Illudium PU-36 Explosive Space
Modulator - The name of the space weapon component that
cartoon character Bugs Bunny (playing an astronaut) grabbed
from Marvin the Martian in the animated feature short
Haredevil Hare (1948).
Marvin the Martin adjusts the Space Modulator
Marvin the Martian, a.k.a. Commander X-23 carried an ACME
disintegration pistol and wanted to use the "PU-36" device to
blow up Earth because it blocked his view of Venus.

TRIVIA NOTE: In the first Marvin the Martian cartoons, the "Illudium
PU-36" device was referred to as "Uranium PU-36." Some people
mistake the sound of "PU" for a "Q" and say "Q-36." However,
the weapon's name is derived from the letters "PU" which
coincidentally is the atomic symbol for Plutonium (named for
the planet Pluto).
