Click for Post Raisin Web SiteEuell Gibbons - An expert on natural foods like Cattails ("Yes, they're edible") and the author of Stalking The Good Life, Stalking the Healthful Herbs and Stalking the Faraway Places, Euell Gibbons was once commercial spokesperson for Post Grape Nuts, the wholesome breakfast cereal made of wheat and barley baked into crunchy nuggets and fortified with eight essential vitamins. His famous endorsement included the phrase "It's naturally sweet taste reminds me of wild hickory nuts. I call Grape Nuts my back-to-nature cereal."

TRIVIA NOTE: Another classic commercial created by Post was its Post Raisin TV spot. It featured a bunch of people dressed in raisin costumes and singing boldly about Post Raisin brand cereal as they stood in a bowl of milk and Post Raisin brand. The jingle proclaimed "It's raisins that make Post Raisin Brand so raisiny / It's raisins that make Post Raisin Brand so wonderful / It's raisins that make Post Raisin Brand so different / More raisins, Much more raisins / More raisin, than you have ever seen before / If you like raisins Fat juicy Raisins / You'll like Post Raisin Brands more, Bum-Bum!, Bum-Bum! Bum-Bum!..."  See also  "California Raisins"
