Click for Kleenex Web SIteManners the Butler - A tiny butler in a Bowler derby hat who starred in a series of 1950s Kleenex Napkins commercials. Throughout the ad spots, Manners (Richard Cutting) lived up to his name. He was well dressed, very polite and always said, "Thank You, I'm Manners." and "I wish you'd try Kleenex Table Napkins...they're perfect for every member of the family. Remember – Kleenex Table Napkins won't slide off your lap. They cling like cloth" The campaign was created in 1957 by the Chicago ad agency Foote, Cone & Belding, Inc. for the Kimberly Clark Corporation.
