- Pharmacy owner Arthur Goodwin (Arthur O'Connell) advised his customers on the
advantages of using Crest Toothpaste on a series of 1970s TV commercials. His
drugstore (No.1212) was next store to Mary's Florist. Visitors to the drug store
included a high school football player, a dark-haired girl, a young blond, a
girl fencer and a boy named Jed.Arthur O'Connell was a veteran
actor whose TV performances included the part of Mr. Hansen (1953-54) on the
situation comedy MISTER. PEPPERS/NBC/1952-53 set at Jefferson High School and Edwin Carpenter,
the sixty-seven-year-old son of Luke Carpenter, a turn of the century gold
prospector who fell into a glacier in 1900 but was revived in 1967 in the sci-fi comedy THE SECOND
HUNDRED YEARS/ABC/1967-68.
