The Answer - A small dry-docked
sailing craft owned by Harry Orwell (David Janssen) on the detective
drama HARRY-O/ABC/1974-76.
Harry was on forced retirement from the San Diego Police
Department due to a spinal injury incurred from a gunshot (bullet
lodged in his spine).
Living at his beachfront home, he worked on rehabbing his boat
when not on an investigation. He called the boat the Answer
because that is what "I'll have as soon as I put it back together."
Harry was a very private person and wanted to go "out on the
ocean where they have no telephones. Telephones bug me."
