Kids
are Punny - A collection of jokes, puns and riddles
compiled from the many letters sent to talk show hostess and
comedian Rosie O'Donnell (a.k.a. "The Queen of Nice") who hosts
the syndicated daytime talk show THE ROSIE O'DONNELL SHOW.

"Kids
Are Punny" (Warner, 1997) featured such cute stabs at humor as:
How did the skunk call home? On his smellular phone; What is
Beethoven doing in his grave? Decomposing; Where do you find the
world's biggest spider? In the World Wide Web; and What did the
teddy bear say when he was offered dessert? No, thanks, I'm
stuffed.
All the profits from the book went to the For All Kids
Foundation which gives money to children's charities.
The book inspired Rosie O'Donnell's Kids Are Punny, a
1998 animated feature hosted by Rosie O'Donnell who appeared as
a cartoon baby. This 90-minute HBO network special was filled
with puns, songs and live-action sequences. It featured the
talents of Madonna, Jackie Mason, Mary Tyler Moore, Chris Rock,
John Lequizano and Marlo Thomas.
