Puff the Flesh Eating Dragon
- Children's book written by court bailiff, Bull Shannon
(Richard Moll) on the situation comedy NIGHT COURT/NBC/1984-92.
The "Puff the Flesh Eating Dragon" book was entered into a
children's book writing contest. The storyline was described as
Mother Goose meets the Terminator. Bull became depressed
however, when he discovered the story was scaring kids.
Bull's later works
included "The Snake Pit of Chucky's Mind"; "The Azzari Sisters: An
Adventure in Fun"; and "Bull on Bull" (which he self-published
after 426 publishers refused his manuscript. He then made it a
best-seller by buying multiple copies of the book at $11 a copy.
Bull's coworker attorney Christine Sullivan (Markie Post) also
wrote a children's book called "Mommy's World" penned under the
name Mother Sullivan.
