Laura Petrie (Mary Tyler Moore), the wife of comedy writer Rob Petrie (Dick
Van Dyke) kept love letters hidden in the basement of their New Rochelle house
behind some loose bricks in back of the furnace. The letters were from an old
high school boyfriend, who had since become a priest.
