Spartacus - Fluffy white pure bred cat
on the sitcom JUST SHOOT ME/NBC/1997-2003. Spartacus is an
award-winning pet cat of Dennis Finch (David Spade), an executive
secretary at the New York-based Blush magazine. A connoisseur
of cats, Finch enjoyed going to cat shows and collecting porcelain
kitty cats.
During one episode, Finch brings his cat to work and it gets
killed in a collision when publisher Jack Gallo (George and his
daughter are racing remote control model cars. Still in grief over
the lose of his cat, Finch gets Spartacus stuffed and places it on
Jack Gallo’s desk. Jack’s guilt becomes so overwhelming [he thinks
the cat is talking to him] that he confesses he killed the cat.
