 George's Wedgie - On episode No. 22
"The Library" (10/16/91) of the sitcom SEINFELD/NBC 1990-98 George
Costanza (Jason Alexander) relived a high school incident when his
cruel gym teacher Mr. Heyman initiated a wedgie on him in the locker
room.Twenty years later George got another wedgie
from Mr. Heyman [now a homeless man] when he met him on the steps of
the New York Public Library.
TRIVIA NOTE: To perform an Atomic Wedgie (worse that the regular wedgie)
the underwear is stretched up over the victim's head while they are
still wearing them. The "Wedgie" was referred to as a "Melvin" on the NBC
sitcom BOSTON COMMON.
