Tomlin, Lily: ROWAN & MARTIN'S LAUGH-IN - Edith Ann, a precocious little girl who sat in an oversized rocking chair ("My baby brother has a little soft spot on his head. You gotta be careful not to touch it. So I took a ball point pen and drew an X on the spot to mark the place people shouldn't touch...And that's the truth!"), Ernestine, the sarcastic telephone operator ("Is this the party to whom I am speaking?"); Susie Sorority, college co-ed (parody of Lily's days as a cheerleader in Detroit when she was dropped from the squad for being "too vulgar"); and Mrs. Earbore, the Tasteful Lady (parody of the country club set).
