Secret Squadron Decoder - Secret Squadron Decoder - On the children's live-action adventure CAPTAIN MIDNIGHT/CBS/1954-58, the Secret Squadron was designed to combat evil, especially the Red Menace so prevalent in the early 1950s. The "SS" members used special decoder badges to decipher messages. The "B=6"
badge setting displayed this combination of letters and numbers:

  • 1=Q

  • 2=D

  • 3=I

  • 4=G

  • 5=H

  • 6=B

  • 7=G

  • 8=A

  • 9=P

  • 10=Z

  • 11=O

  • 12=Y

  • 13=N

  • 14=X

  • 15=M

  • 16=W

  • 17=L

  • 18=V

  • 19=K

  • 20=U

  • 21=J

  • 22=T

  • 23=S

  • 24=F

  • 25=R

  • 26=E
