She wanted her husband to say to her "I love you." When the program originally broadcast, this episode ended with a phone number for viewers to call and vote on what Al should say. Later on that night, they played the ending. The vote was 67% in favor of Al saying "I Love You." As painful as it was, Al gave in to Peg's wish.
