Fraggles - Friendly underground creatures seen on the children's puppet program FRAGGLE ROCK/HBO/1983-86. Located through a hole in the wall in the basement of inventor Doc's workshop, the Fraggles, (who loved to sing) populated a world of subterranean caverns, grottoes, lakes and streams. They lived in harmony with the Doozers, tiny creatures who loved to build. Their enemies were the giant Gorgs. Uncle Matt, an elder Fraggle loved to leave the security of his netherworld to wander among the humans on all sorts of adventures. He would often send letters home to describe his travels. All of the characters on the program were named after film technology terms (for example, Sprocket, Gobo, Uncle Traveling Matt). The Fraggles were the muppet creations of Jim Henson. On January 8, 1989 FRAGGLE ROCK became the first American television series to be broadcast in the Soviet Union.

THEME SONG

Dance your cares away,
Worry’s for another day.
Let the music play
Down at Fraggle Rock.

Work you cares away.
Dancing’s for another day.
Let the Fraggles play,
We’re Gobo, Mokey, Wembley, Boober, Red.

Dance your cares away,
Worry’s for another day.
Let the music play,
Down at Fraggle Rock.

Down at Fraggle Rock.
Down at Fraggle Rock.
