Over the years a number of the SNL alumni have met with untimely deaths: John Belushi (3/5/82) Drug overdose of cocaine & heroin; Andy Kaufman (5/84) Lung Cancer; Gilda Radner (5/20/89) Ovarian cancer; Chris Farley (12/18/97) alcohol & drug abuse poisoning; Phil Hartman (5/28/98) gunshot by his wife who in turn killed herself.
