Mr. Moose - Moose puppet on the children's program CAPTAIN KANGAROO/CBS/1955-68. Mr. Moose regularly confronted the Captain (Bob Keeshan) with knock-knock jokes and dropped Ping-Pong balls onto the head of his soft-spoken benefactor. Mr. Moose was manipulated by Cosmo "Gus" Allegretti. Mr. Moose continued to play pranks on the Captain on THE ALL NEW CAPTAIN KANGAROO/SYN/1997 revival series starring John McDonough as the Captain.
