Barkleys, The - Family of lower-middle class canines on the animated half-hour DePatie-Freleng cartoon THE BARKLEYS/NBC/1972-73. The Barkley family included Arnie Barkley, an opinionated bus driver (voice of Henry Corden); his wife, Agnes (Joan Gerber); daughter, Terri (Julie McWhirter); and their two sons, Chester (Steve Lewis) and Roger (Gene Andrusco). The series was inspired by the Archie Bunker character on the CBS sitcom ALL IN THE FAMILY.
